Place an order

You can place an order directly on our official website by adding products to the cart. You will receive an order confirmation email right after the payment is made. 

Please note that an order number will be attached in the e-mail, you can trace the status of order by providing the order number to MetaHome through email. Home furniture products will normally be delivered within 8-10 weeks upon the completion of payment.

Delivery Arrangement

Home furniture products will normally be delivered within 10 weeks upon the completion of payment (Except specifically mentioned products).Home delivery and installation fee will be charged.

*Delivery service to outlying islands is only applicable to Tung Chung, Ma Wan and Discovery Bay. An additional fee will be charged for locations in Tung Chung, Ma Wan, and  Discovery Bay. An extra fee will be charged for location without an elevator. (For some specific items, upstairs and downstairs moving service will not be provided. Please contact us for detailed information.)

If no one is present upon the delivery of goods at appointed date and time in the designated location, the deliverymen will leave a notification card. Please contact us for arrangement for re-delivery at HKD300 per destination.

Please contact us to arrange the delivery date at your convenience. Delivery service will be suspended and re-scheduled in case of bad weather conditions.

MetaHome will notify the customer via email or phone 5 days before the date of delivery. Should you require changes of delivery date, please contact us via e-mail or phone as soon as possible.

Cracks in Wood Furniture as Natural Phenomenon

All of the solid wood furniture is constructed from real trees and solid slabs of wood and professionally dried to 6-8% moisture content before any build. Factory workers prefer and actually seek out wood with cracks, twists and color. This is the inherent character of wood and is not considered a defect in material. Solid wood adjusts to the moisture content of the air in different times of the year.This natural phenomenon is analogous to human being’s biological breathing system. Wood will also adjust to the moisture content of your home and its surroundings. You may notice your solid wood furniture move ever so slightly or even develop small cracks or dips. This is a natural physical phenomenon.

However, a dry home may cause the wood to move or crack more than a home with proper humidity. Be make sure that your home has proper humidity levels throughout the year (the optimal relative humidity level for wood furniture is around 60%).You can purchase a humidity meter from most hardware stores and we strongly urge you to check before the arrival of your furniture piece. Keep in mind that wood does have a life of its own and even with proper measures taken in the environment and by our team in the construction process, you may notice some movement.

Difference in color

MetaHome displays products by photos on e-shop. Since each computer's screen resolution may differ, it may result in different representations of the product in terms of color display. Wood is the major raw material of products in MetaHome. Each piece of wood has unique grain and color such that wooden products may not be exactly the same in color and grain as shown in the photos. MetaHome would not accept the above as reasons for refund and return.
